Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FodyLabs ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use taxi.rent.wf (the "Service"), a private taxi dispatch and booking platform.
1. Who we are
FodyLabs operates taxi.rent.wf and is the data controller for the personal data described below. You can contact us at app@fodylabs.com.
2. Data we collect
Riders. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and a stable Google subject identifier. When you book a ride we collect your pickup and drop-off locations and addresses, any intermediate stops, trip notes, the number of passengers and bags, an optional contact phone number, the chosen pickup time, and your ride history and ratings.
Drivers. We store your Telegram chat identifier, name, phone number, vehicle make/model/plate and capacities, your declared duty area, the languages you speak, your payment methods and your credit balance.
Location. During an active ride a driver may share live location via Telegram; this is used only to show ride progress and is not used for dispatch.
Technical. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent) and a session cookie used for authentication.
3. How we use data
- To provide the Service: match riders with drivers, send dispatch offers, track ride status and process ratings.
- To let the driver contact you about your ride (your phone number is shared only after a driver accepts).
- To secure the platform and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
We process personal data on the basis of: (a) performance of a contract (providing a booked ride); (b) legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the Service); and (c) consent where required (for example, the optional phone number).
5. Sharing
We share data only as necessary: with the driver who accepts your ride (your name, phone number, pickup and drop-off); with Telegram (driver communication and location); with Google (sign-in); and with our hosting provider Cloudflare (infrastructure). We do not sell personal data.
6. Retention
Ride history and account data are kept for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal and accounting requirements, after which they are deleted or anonymised. The session cookie expires after 30 days.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing. Contact app@fodylabs.com. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
8. Cookies and storage
We use a single HttpOnly session cookie for authentication and browser localStorage to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
9. International transfers
Data is processed by Cloudflare on infrastructure located in various regions; transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards.
10. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time; the "Effective" date above indicates the latest version.
